Hi lovely, welcome to Holly Rose ♡

I'm Holly, the designer and founder behind Holly Rose, a contemporary bridal brand inspired by storytelling, modern femininity and the quiet tenderness hidden within memory and girlhood. The brand was created from all the little things I’ve always loved - fairytales scribbled in notebooks, flowers pressed between book pages, romance films, books, ribbons, folklore and the feeling of romanticising the world around you.

Holly Rose was developed whilst completing my BA (Hons) degree at JCA London Fashion Academy, where I specialised in contemporary bridalwear, craftsmanship and fashion branding. Throughout my studies, I developed a love for combining emotional storytelling with technical construction, creating garments that feel both expressive and deeply personal.

The name Holly Rose also holds deep personal meaning. “Rose” is dedicated to my grandma Rosie, whose warmth and softness became one of the emotional foundations behind the brand. In many ways, Holly Rose became a space to explore the memories, sentimentality and connections we carry with us throughout our lives.

Fashion has always been my favourite form of storytelling. I’ve always been drawn to creating pieces that feel immersive and emotionally driven rather than simply existing as clothing. Through Holly Rose, I wanted to create bridalwear that feels romantic, expressive and uniqley personal to the wearer while still existing within a contemporary bridal space.

As a disabled designer, adaptability and thoughtful construction are also incredibly important within my work. Larger seam allowances, adjustable details and tailoring-conscious design choices are intentionally incorporated throughout my garments to allow pieces to feel more personal, comfortable and wearable for each individual bride. During my experience interning within the bridal industry, I realised how often these considerations were overlooked, which became something I wanted Holly Rose to approach differently.

My design process is heavily rooted in craftsmanship, draping and experimentation. I love creating movement through fabric, layering textures and developing silhouettes that feel soft, romantic and dreamlike while still considering comfort and wearability.

And of course, behind every sketched design, late-night fitting and photoshoot has been my assistant Oakley, supervising the brand entirely from the begining at 10 months old starting our university and brand journey in exchange for snacks, cuddles and occasionally stealing fabric off the studio floor.

Thank you for stepping into our little world for a while. I hope somewhere amongst the tulle, ribbons and sparkle you find something that feels a little magical and a little more like yourself ♡
